It’s a busy weekend if sport is your thing, but even if it isn’t, the weather is looking dry enough to get out and about…

Friday

1. Fun at Na Gaeil club…

Two great nights of comedy drama are guaranteed at ‘One Murder and a Christening’, on Friday and Saturday night at Na Gaeil GAA Club.

After the success of ‘The Wedding and Funeral’ last year the club has decided to put on this a two act drama which won’t disappoint.

The fun starts at 7.30pm both nights so go along early to maybe have a drink and get a good seat. Light refreshments will be served in the bar after the event.

2. Basketball marathon…

BASKETBALL lovers are very well taken care of this weekend with all of Saturday devoted to the sport in the Tralee Sports Complex court.

First of all, Tralee Tigers are hosting their U19 Invitational Tournament which will see teams from St Mary’s Castleisland, St Paul’s Killarney, Hertfordshire Warriors from the UK, Tralee Tigers and Team Kerry taking part.

Later that evening, Garvey’s Tralee Warriors are back in Men’s Superleague action against Swords Thunder. Tip-off is 8pm but get there early to get a seat.

3. A ‘Super Sunday’…

Kerry senior teams are in action in both codes on Sunday in Austin Stack Park. The hurlers are first out against Meath in the Allianz Hurling League Division 2A clash.

Then it’s the footballers turn as they welcome Galway for the Allianz League Division 1 game at 2.30pm.

If you’re planning on going, make sure you buy your tickets before Saturday at midnight at Centra or Supervalu stores to avail of the 20% discount at €12, rather than €15. Free admission for U16s.
