Free Course At Kerry ETB To Learn Culinary Arts

TO address the skills gap and staff shortage in hospitality and tourism sectors in County Kerry, a new fully funded course in Tralee may be of interest.

Applicants are open for the upcoming Certificate in Culinary Arts (Food Preparation and Cooking) at Kerry ETB Training Centre at Monavalley.

This is a pathway course to a career in the culinary arts, food preparation or progression to the National Commis Chef Apprenticeship Programme. Each learner will be based in an industry standard production kitchen and with have their own workstation.

The course is fully funded, so no fees are payable. It runs for 20 weeks full time and aims to develop a range of basic food prep, cooking and culinary arts skills.

Interviews take place on Wednesday, May 8, at Kerry ETB Training Centre. Apply online or in-centre at Monavalley.
