The Council lands at Fels Point.
WITH the town set to be a very busy place over the next week, the Council has decided to provide motorists with extra places to park during the festival.
Birds Amusements have taken over much of the Brandon Car Park and across the road at Parklands, while the new Dome in Abbey Car Park has seen that space taken away from motorists, so parking is already hard to come by.
So to provide extra space, Kerry County Council will provide free parking at the Fels Point site adjacent to the Rose Hotel and the Dan Spring Road from tomorrow, Thursday, August 18 for the period of the Rose of Tralee International Festival until next Wednesday. While Fossetts Circus is also at the site, there is still a large space for parking.
