TRALEE’s new look Lidl store opened its doors this morning a week earlier than anticipated.

“Basically we’ve done a total modernization of the store. The original store had been open in Tralee for 11 years so we pretty much cleared out the place and revamped it,” said Stuart Mangan, Lidl Regional Manager.

Brand new features to the store situated on the Castlemaine Road, include air-conditioning, customer toilets and a large pane glass window at the rear of the store to allow more light in.

“An awful lot has been invested in the car park as well, these are all features designed to enhance the customer’s experience,”  said Stuart.

“While the store was closed I had to go to Castleisland, so I’m delighted it has reopened. I think it looks nice, it’s a big improvement,” said customer, Trish O’Connor.

“I’m happy it’s opened, because we just live around the corner so it’s very convenient, it’s looking very nice” said customer, Anne Moore.
