A NEW fully-funded course has been launched to address the skills gap and staff shortage in hospitality and tourism sectors in Kerry.
The upcoming Certificate in Culinary Arts (Food Preparation and Cooking) starts on Monday, May 10 at Kerry College’s Clash Campus in Tralee.
The course is fully funded, so no fees are payable. It runs for 20 weeks full time and aims to develop a range of basic food prep, cooking and culinary arts skills. Only 8 places are available.
This is a pathway course targeted at those who wish to start a career in the culinary arts, food preparation or progress to the National Commis Chef Apprenticeship Programme.
