The Gaelcholáiste Chiarraí Under 15 hurling team who were successful this week.
IT was a good week for Gaelcholáiste Chiarraí teams this week.
The under 15 hurlers won the Craobh Chiarraí on Wednesday. They defeated St Brendan’s Killarney in the semi-final and the final was contested between Gaelcholáiste and Mercy Mounthawk at the John Mitchels sports grounds.

Gaelcholáiste played with the wind in the first half and were leading 1-7 to 0-1 at halftime.
Mounthawk reduced the deficit early in the second half but Gaelcholáiste replied with some fine scores to win on a scoreline of 3-14 to 0-7.
Also Gaelcholáiste Chiarraí’s girls under 16 footballers had a great victory on Tuesday last, winning the Munster Post Primary Schools Plate Final. They defeated St John Bosco, Kikdystart, Co Clare in the final.
