THE second year students of Gaelcholáiste Chiarraí decided to get a head start on their Junior Cert CSPE action project.
They organised a fun fundraiser for Bóthar, by hosting a” Christmas Jumper Day” recently.
Each student donated €2 to a worthy cause and a grand total of €328 was raised.
Bóthar are responsible for working with local community groups to promote using livestock in third world countries.
This involves educating the families as well as providing them with long term support.
