Gaelcholáiste Students To Raise Funds For Arlington Lodge

Gaelcholáiste Chiarraí students who will highlight the plight of the homeless on December 21.

GAELCHOLÁISTE Chiarraí Leaving Cert students will sleep overnight in school, on Thursday, December 21 in order to raise funds for a local homeless facility.

The students realise that they are very fortunate and that Christmas can be a such a difficult time for a lot of people, especially the homeless.

This is their way of creating awareness of the Homeless crisis in Ireland at the moment and raise much needed funds for Arlington Lodge, Kerry’s only temporary-supported homeless facility.

All the students taking part have sponsorship cards and one can also donate at the school office. All of the proceeds will go directly to Arlington Lodge, Tralee.

Also the shoe box appeal will be donated to Arlington Lodge along with money raised by a third year group.
