THE people at Baile Mhuire Day Care Centre had a treat on Monday when they enjoyed entertainment courtesy of the pupils from Gaelscoil Mhic Easmainn.
Two busloads of children arrived at the centre in Caherslee with their musical instruments and in full voice for the morning.
“Our school choir paid their annual visit to the centre today to entertain the senior citizens of our community,” said Cáit Uí Chonchúir, Principal of the school.
“It was little Christmas celebration which was thoroughly enjoyed by all. Those in attendance sang and clapped along with us and the kids were delighted to get such a reception from them,” she continued.
The pupils will give another performance of music and song outside Penney’s on Wednesday afternoon to get shoppers in a festive mood.
