Gally’s Presents Over €2,000 To Recovery Haven

GALLYS Bar and Restaurant presented cheques for over €2,000 to Recovery Haven on Thursday morning thanks to a fundraiser last week.

The business on the Castlemaine Road, which has been big supporters of Recovery Haven for many years, urged people to visit their drive-thru facility on Monday, November 9 to pick up a coffee and confectionery treat for just €5.

It was a massive success with the public coming out to support the cause and raised €1,547. The Galvin family decided to add an additional contribution of €500 to bring he total over €2,000.

Kathleen Collins of Recovery Haven said; “We’d like to thank Gallys and the Galvin family for the generous donations. It was fabulous to see the amount of people who supported it.”

“We were delighted we could do anything at all for Recovery Haven and it turned out to be a huge success,” said Aileen Assad of Gallys.

The Gally’s team were also happy to do something to mark Recovery Haven’s 10th anniversary of providing support for those dealing with cancer and their families.
