THE Gardaí and ambulance services were called to a private house on the outskirts of Tralee last night, where an estimated 200 teenagers had gathered at party which had spiralled out of control.
A parent of one of the teenagers attending, told Radio Kerry news that when he called to the house to collect his son, he came upon two ambulances at the scene with teenagers stumbling all over the road with many carrying alcohol,
He was informed by his son that about 30 people had been invited to the party, but many others, said to be aged between 12 and 17, had heard about it through social media and gatecrashed it.
The parent said the situation was very dangerous with teenagers in a drunken state on the road and questioned whether their parents knew where they were.
