Gardaí Appeal For Information After Theft In Tralee Town Park

GARDAI are appealing for any information regarding a theft at Tralee Town Park last week.

At around 11.30am on Wednesday, April 12, a woman was walking in the Park with her child.  A male approached them and snatched her handbag, fleeing the scene.

He is described as wearing dark clothing and a facemask. He also had what was described as a ‘scruffy, white dog’ on a red lead with him.

If anyone witnessed the incident or has any information relating to it, they are asked to contact Tralee Garda Station on 066-7102300.

    I recall the town park being the focus of politicians due to criminality and Gardaí doing short lived patrols.
    Gardaí need to patrol the town centre and town park.
    Is it not time the county council took responsibility and hired security for their park?
    A victim should be able to sue Kerry County Council.
