Gardaí Appeal For Information After Vehicle Found Burnt Out

GARDAI in Tralee are seeking information after two separate unauthorised taking of vehicle incidents in town over the past few weeks.

On Tuesday, December 10, between 6am and 7am, a valeting service business in Ballybeggan was broken into and a grey Fiat Bravo 08-KY-601 was stolen, as well as a number of tools.

The car was found burnt out at midday later that day near the Na Gaeil Club at Killeen. Gardai are asking if anyone saw anything suspicious in the Ballybeggan area or at the Killeen road to contact them on 066-7102300.

Also, a shutter door had been damaged to another business in Ballybeggan at around the same and they believe the two incidents are connected.

Meanwhile, Gardai are appealing to the public to keep an eye out for a blue Audi saloon registration number 04- KY-4980. The car was taken from a house in Forge Park on November 28. If you see the car please contact 066-7102300.

Also, gardai are seeking any information after two bins were damaged when they were set on fire last week. Gardai were called to the Abbey car park at 10pm on Friday, December 13 and the fire service also attended.
