GARDAI are appealing for any information in connection with a criminal damage incident at a Tralee estate.

At about 12.30am on Sunday, September 6, a woman had just come back to her house in the Muing estate after a night out.

A young relative was babysitting and they heard a loud bang at the front window, which they discovered had been smashed. They looked out the window to see a male running away. A hammer used to break the window was left at the scene.

Gardaí are asking anyone who saw the male to contact them at Tralee Garda Station on 066-7102300.

  1. THE TRALEE GARDAI ARE A TOTAL JOKE..And the criminals around Tralee area know that … Its becoming a very dangerous town to live in and i am seriously thinking of moving out of here. I rang the Gardai In Tralee x times last week about an incident near me where people were trying to kick in a door of a premises and the phone just rang out..I eventually got through after about 10 minutes but the thugs had moved on by the time the gardai came!!.
