GARDAI in Tralee are appealing to the public for information in relation to separate incidents in the local area over the past week.

On Saturday night, September 10, a man and a woman were queuing for food in a takeaway on Castle Street, when they became involved in an altercation with another male in the queue. No-one was injured in the fight, but Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to the incident.

On Friday evening, September 9, a lock was damaged at the gate to Adams Garage in the Mile Height. CCTV footage revealed children are suspected to have caused the damage. Gardai are appealing if anyone saw anything suspicious to contact them at Tralee Garda Station on 066-7102300.

Between Friday, September 9 and Saturday, September 10, the front window of a vacant house in Killelton, Camp, was broken and the premises entered but nothing was taken. Gardai in Castlegregory would appreciate any information.

Meanwhile, Gardaí are also appealing for witnesses to an incident which occurred a month ago. On August 11 at 12 noon in the Dunnes Stores car park on the North Circular Road, a grey Volkswagen Golf was parked up and a silver Ford Mondeo attempted to park next to it.

In doing so, the Mondeo scraped off the Golf and left the scene. Gardaí only got a partial registration so if anyone saw the incident they are asked to contact Tralee Garda Station on 066-7102300.
