GARDAI are appealing to the public for information relating to a collision outside a school last week.
Last Monday, November 14, at about 2.20pm, a woman was collecting her grandson outside Scoil Eoin, Balloonagh.
She was near the pedestrian crossing when a car — described as small and dark in colour — clipped her leg and failed to remain at the scene. The woman sustained a fractured fibula and subsequently had to be operated on in hospital. Gardaí say the motorist may not be aware that they clipped the woman.
If any motorist has any dash cam footage of the incident or if anyone witnessed it, they are asked to contact Tralee Garda Station on 066-7102300.
