Gardaí have arrested and charged a man in relation to a burglary in Tralee on July 21, 2020.
At around 12.30am, a man entered a house in the Ballyard area of Tralee. The man fled the scene after the family dog began barking. No items were taken from the house.
An investigation was carried out by Tralee Gardaí and a suspect was nominated following house to house enquiries and reviewing of CCTV from the locality.
A man, aged in his 30s, was arrested on July 26 and was brought to Tralee Garda Station. He was detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 and has since been charged. He is due to appear before Tralee District Court on August 20, 2020 at 10.30am.
