Speaking at Listowel Garda Station during the week, Superintendent Daniel Keane Garda said; ‘We want everyone to have a safe and enjoyable weekend at the races. I would ask everyone driving to the festival to use one of the many designated car parks and avoid parking in residential areas. When you do park your car, make sure it is locked and that no valuables are left inside on display. Keep your belongings on you at all times and stay safe. Most of all, if you plan on having a drink, don’t get behind the wheel. Enjoy the Races.”
