Gardaí Hit The Right Notes To Raise Thousands For Kerry Hospice

GARDAI in Tralee have raised over €4,000 for the Kerry Hospice Foundation after their annual festive fundraising event.

As they do every year, members of the force were on The Mall with donation buckets on Wednesday, December 21, entertaining Christmas shoppers with their singing talents.

They had help from local musicians and guest singers, with the public giving generously to the tune of €4,173.

Garda Cathy Murphy and Garda Trish Fitzpatrick called to the palliative care unit on Thursday evening to deliver the cheque.

Andrea O’Donoghue of the Kerry Hospice Foundation said they were delighted the local Gardaí chose them as the beneficiary this year.
