TRALEE gardaí have been busy over the past day making arrests and drug seizures in the local area.
During a search of a house last night, Tralee gardaí discovered cannabis and cocaine valued at approximately €4,000 (pending analysis) and just under €2,000 cash.
Then this morning, as part of Operation GLAS, Gardaí conducted covert foot patrols of the Town Park and other public amenities. The operation is targeting illegal drug activity and anti-social behaviour at local amenity areas.
A deal of heroin and a scissors was found during the search of a suspect and a court appearance is to follow. Just last Monday, gardaí seized €1,000 of suspected heroin in Tralee as part of their ongoing operation targeting street level drug dealing in Tralee Town.
