GARDAI in Tralee are investigating an alleged assault in a section of Tralee Town Park on Tuesday night.
The incident is alleged to have occurred in an area of the park near Siamsa Tíre and the Brandon Car Park. Gardai cordoned off part of the park on Wednesday where a forensic examination of the area took place.
Investigations are ongoing and gardaí are not releasing any more information about the incident.
