Gardaí Investigate Attempted Break-In At Rock Street Bar

GARDAÍ in Tralee are investigating an attempted break-in of a bar in Rock Street, along with a number of other incidents in Tralee over the past week.

An attempt to break into The Shebeen Bar on Rock Street was made between midnight on Thursday, October 9 and 7.30am on Friday morning.

There was no entry gained but the back door was damaged by the would-be thieves. If anyone saw anything suspicious in the lane way at the back of the premises, they are asked to contact Tralee gardaí.

Another incident being investigated is an attempted break-in at Mercury Foods in Monavalley this morning, between 4.50am and 5.30am. No entry was gained, but there was damage done to the shutters of the business premises.

If anyone saw anything suspicious at that time in the area, please contact Tralee Garda Station.

 

Gardaí are also investigating after a garage of a house at Bateman’s Green, Killeen, was entered between Monday, October 5 at 8.30pm and Tuesday, October 6 at 1pm. A quantity of alcohol worth €210 and a sports bag was taken in the burglary.

If the any member of the public was offered alcohol for sale or saw anyone drinking alcohol in the area around this time, please contact the gardaí in Tralee.
