Gardaí Investigate Three Break-ins In Tralee Area On Friday

GARDAI are investigating three break-ins in the Tralee area on Friday, two of which took place at creches/childcare facilities.

 

They are looking for help with a break-in at the creche at the North Campus of IT Tralee in the early hours of Friday morning. The incident took place between 12.45am and 1.30am and cash was taken. It’s believed the burglar(s) gained access through a window.

Then, later that morning, between 2.30am and 3.30am, Oakview Village Childcare Centre was broken into.   Nothing was taken as the alarm went off and they fled the scene. Two males in dark clothing were spotted in the area around that time and gardai wish to speak to them.

Later on Friday night, between 9pm and 11pm, a burglary took place in Liscahane Nursery and Garden Centre. An amount of cash and electronics were taken.

Gardaí are asking if anyone saw anything in the areas of the break-ins at the times given to get in contact with them in Tralee Garda Station on 066-7102300.
