Gardaí Investigate Burglaries In Tralee And North Kerry

THERE were a number of burglaries in Tralee and north Kerry over the past two weeks and gardaí are looking for the public’s assistance in their investigations.

On Saturday, August 5, between 10am and 10.30am, there was a burglary at a house in Racecourse Road. A suspect entered a private house and took two gold chains which were of great sentimental value. If anyone saw anything suspicious please contact gardaí in Tralee on 066-7102300.

On Friday, August 4, between 5.30am and 5.45am, someone broke into Listowel Electrical Rewinds in the town. A small sum of money, all in coins, was taken in the break-in.

On July 22 between 9am and 9.30am, there was a pike and wheelbarrow taken from a storage shed in Ballyduff GAA club grounds. Contact the station in Ballyduff on 066-71311122 if anyone saw anything suspicious.

Also a Fitbit sports watch was found on the Bill Kinnerk Road in Tralee at around 8am on Monday morning. Gardaí have it at Tralee Garda Station if the owner can provide proof of ownership.
