There were burglaries in Ballybunion and Knocknagoshel and a theft of alloyed wheels in Duagh.

A house on Church Road in Ballybunion, was broken into between Thursday, February 18 and Saturday, February 20. It was vacant at the time, with the rear of the house entered and there was nothing of any value taken.

On Monday, February 15, between 10.50am and 3pm, a house in Kilmanihan West, Knocknagoshel was broken into and cash and jewellery was taken.

The owners were out at the time and a silver-coloured saloon type car was seen by a neighbour in the driveway at the house and then leaving at haste.  If anyone saw anything suspicious, please contact Listowel Garda Station on 068-50820.

Over in Duagh, gardaí are investigating the theft of alloyed wheels. Between the night of Tuesday, February 16 and the following morning, four alloyed wheels of a Volkswagen Golf were taken from the car outside a home. They were 16 inch chrome alloyed wheels.

Again, please contact Listowel Garda Station if you have any information to help with their enquiries.
