Gardaí Investigate Burglary And Criminal Damage Incidents

GARDAI are seeking information on a burglary and criminal damage incidents in town over the past week.

Between Saturday evening and Monday morning, damage was caused to the front window of a business at the Horan Centre.

If anyone saw anything suspicious or people hanging around that area over the weekend, they are asked to contact gardaí in Tralee.

Also, a burglary took place at a house in Castle Demesne, between 11pm on Monday, November 5 and midnight on Tuesday, November 6. They are looking for any information, but in particular in relation to a person seen in the area on a bike.

Finally, an electric fence was stolen on Saturday, November 3 and gardaí are asking people if they are offered such an item for sale, to contact them at Tralee Garda Station on 066-7102300.

Gardaí are also reiterating that the ‘See Something Say Something’ campaign is still ongoing and people are encouraged to text 50555 if they see a crime taking place or report information. They are getting an average of 30 texts a week and respond to reports on average within nine minutes of receiving the texts.
