Gardaí Investigate Criminal Damage And Theft Incidents

GARDAI in Tralee are looking for the public’s help in relation to theft and criminal damage incident over the past week.

On Tuesday, May 19, between 12 noon and 2pm, the rear of a vehicle was damaged at Manor West car park. The rear registration plate was taken off the car while the owner was inside shopping.

Also, a double axle Ifor Williams trailer was taken from a farmyard in Loughnacappagh, Ballymacelligott, between 8pm on Wednesday, May 20 and 8pm on Friday, May 22.

Finally, on Thursday, May 21, at around 11.15pm, a vehicle collided with the front wall outside the Applegreen service station at Killerisk causing significant damage to the wall.

The light-coloured vehicle failed to remain at the scene and gardaí are looking for witnesses to the incident or a vehicle travelling at high speed in the area at the time.
