Gardaí Investigate Criminal Damage, Assault And Theft Incidents In Tralee

GARDAI in Tralee are investigating criminal damage, assaults and theft incidents in the Tralee area.

Between Friday, October 25 and Tuesday, October 29 damage was caused to three skylight windows at Holy Family primary school. No entry was gained to the building. If anyone noticed anything suspicious in the area during that weekend they are asked to contact Tralee Garda Station on 066-7102300.

On November 1, between 3.30am and 7am, a person in a house in St Joseph’s Estate at Spa Road heard glass breaking and a male banging on a window. Again, any information to the Garda Station.

A purse was stolen at The Abbey Inn on Friday, November 1 between 12 midnight and 2am. A woman had her bag beside her and when she checked it she found that her purse was missing. If you were in the bar during this time and saw anything suspicious, please contact Tralee gardaí.

On Sunday, November 3, a person went to his car in the Ogham Rian estate at 3.20am to find the indicator lever ripped out of his vehicle. Again, any information to Tralee gardaí.

Two assaults occurred in Tralee town centre on Friday, November 1. The first assault happened  at 5.45pm on Russell Street and the second assault occurred at 5.55pm on The Mall.

Both assaults are connected and gardaí are following a definite line of enquiry. Gardaí say comments were made to the injured parties and they are asking if anyone heard these comments or saw these incidents to contact Tralee Garda Station.
