are any of the cameras working in tralee..what’s the point in having them if there not manned at night is that not what they are for to feel safe walking around tralee.i mean the crib in the square attacked twice and now a shop front up the town…this has to be resolved…we don’t need mindless animals roaming g the streets at nite damaging what they want to..

    Garda (town Centre) CCTV Schemes!

“Garda CCTV systems are already operating successfully in town centres including Dublin City Centre areas such as Temple Bar and the O’Connell street area as well as Tralee, Cork, Bray, Dundalk, Dun Laoghaire, Galway and Limerick.”

I demand a retraction from the Department of Justice and Equality as the CCTV scheme seems to be unsuccessful in Tralee town judging from all the appeals the Garda make to the public regarding vandalism at night in the town as reported by Tralee Today.
Off the top of my head I recall:
A car vandalised in the Brandon carpark by a domestic tourist.
    O’Mahony’s bookshop window vandalised.
The town Christmas crib in the square too.
LOL – no one does fake news like the establishment.
