On Thursday, another car was entered outside the injured party’s house and items taken included glasses, cash, and a number of CDs. Again this car was unlocked and no damage caused to the vehicle.

Between 11pm on Thursday and 7am on Friday, the following morning, another unlocked car was entered and rummaged through. However, nothing was taken.

At Highfield Grove, between Friday and Sunday, a lady discovered money was missing from her vehicle which was parked outside her property. No damage was caused to the vehicle, which appears to have been unlocked at the time.

Also, between 6am and 8:45am on Sunday, a house was burgled at Ard Carraig. The injured party woke up to discover her house had been ransacked.  Entry was gained through an unlocked back door and a wallet containing cash was taken.

Gardai believe all the incidents may be connected. They are appealing to home owners to lock their doors and windows and their cars at all times.

If anyone saw anything suspicious in the area at the time or knows anything, they are asked to contact Tralee Garda Station on 066-7102300.
