Gardaí Investigate Spate Of Burglaries In Past Week

GARDAI in Tralee and around the county are investigating a number of burglaries over the past week, with three perpetrated in one night.

On Tuesday morning last at about 2.45am on Main Street in Milltown, entry was gained to a business premises via the front door.

Meanwhile, in Monavalley Industrial Estate in Tralee at 4am, a premises was broken into via the front door.

About 15 minutes later over in Abbeydorney village, a business was also broken into. The front door was damaged and property taken from the premises.

Gardaí haven’t ruled out the possibility that the three incidents are linked. They are looking for any public assistance in terms of witnesses or suspicious vehicles in the areas around this time.

On Saturday afternoon, there was a break-in to an apartment at Chapel Place in Killarney, and a quantity of jewellery was taken.

Finally, Gardaí in Tralee are investigating two burglaries in the early hours of this morning at about 3am, at a business premises in Castleisland.
