GARDAI in Tralee are investigating a stabbing incident in the town this afternoon.
The man in his 60s was stabbed on the street outside Tralee Library at around 2pm. The man is believed to have been stabbed a number of times according to gardai. He was brought to University Hospital Kerry and his condition is not known at this time.
Gardai are looking for a man who left the scene. Gardai are examining CCTV footage in the area but are asking for anyone who witnessed the incident or saw a man leaving the area around this time, to get in touch with them on 066-7102300.
