Gardaí Investigate Theft And Criminal Damage Incidents In Tralee

GARDAI in Tralee are looking for information in relation to theft and criminal damage incidents in town over the past week, as well as having lost items at the station that they would like to reunite with their owners.

On Tuesday, September 22 into Wednesday, September 23, a car was parked in the Lidl car park off Edward Street. A racer bicycle was attached to the rear of the vehicle and the two wheels were stolen from it. If anyone saw the theft, please contact Tralee gardaí on 066-7102300.

On the night of Friday, September 25 to the morning of Saturday, 26th, a car was parked on James Street and the owner came back to find his wing mirror had been smashed. Also, a car was parked in the Clash area on Saturday and the tyres were slashed.

Meanwhile, a number of items have been handed into Tralee Garda Station which gardaí would like to reunite with their owners.

On Monday, September 21, a gold bracelet found in Dom O’Donnell’s car park in Boherbee. A set of keys attached to a Ford keyring was found in the Oakpark area on Saturday last. A phone was also handed into the station on Saturday and an iPod was found on Banna Beach on Sunday.

If you lost any of those items and can provide proof of ownership, then go along to Tralee Garda Station to reclaim them.
