Shortly after 1pm on Sunday, February 12, a man aged in his 20s called to a house in the Castlecountess area.

He told the homeowner he was stranded in Tralee and needed some money to get home. When the homeowner produced their wallet, it was snatched off them and the man fled in the direction of the town park.
