GARDAI in Tralee are warning the public again about scam callers.
They have been contacted this week by members of the public who have received calls from people who claim there is something wrong with the Windows programme on their computer.
They want people to log onto their computer and then they request private information. This is a scam and they are asking the public to hang up immediately and do not entertain them as the callers can get aggressive. The scam is targeting landlines rather than mobiles.
