GARDAI are appealing for witnesses or information into an alleged abduction of a young man in Tralee on last Monday night.
At about 7.15pm, the young man was taken in a car from John Joe Sheehy Road against his will in a white Ford Estate by two men who were known to him.
He managed to escape by jumping from the car at Dan Paddy Andy Cross in Lyrecrompane at about 8pm that evening.

The two men have since been arrested and questioned and a file is being prepared for the DPP. Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses either at John Joe Sheehy Road or Lyrecrompane to contact them at Tralee Garda Station on 066-7102300.
