GARDAI have issued an appeal for information after an incident at Banna last week where three hearing impaired people had their cash and belongings stolen from a car.
The incident occurred between 4.45pm and 6pm on Thursday, April 28 at Banna Strand while the owners were away from the vehicle. The thieves took cash of €1,900, ATM cards, passports, four boxes of chocolates, phone chargers and other belongings from the vehicle.

Unfortunately, the PIN numbers for the bank cards were also found in the belongings and the thieves went to the ATM at the Horan Centre in Tralee. The thieves did a number of transactions at the machine between 6.30pm and 6.40pm on the same day.
Gardai are asking the public if they came upon the thieves spending such a length of time at the ATM machine at the Horan Centre, to contact them at Tralee Garda Station on 066-7102300.
