GARDAI are appealing to car owners to lock their vehicles after a number of cases of theft from cars in an area of Tralee last week.
On the night of Monday, October 21 and into the morning of Tuesday, October 22, a number of vehicles were illegally entered in the Ballyard and Cloghers area of town.
Items stolen ranged from loose change to mobile phones and a sat nav device. There was no damage done to the cars and it seems many of them were left unlocked.
Gardaí are appealing for any information and are asking people to please lock their vehicles when unattended. You can contact Tralee Garda Station on 066-7102300.
