GARDAí are asking for the public’s help in catching those responsible for throwing rocks at vehicles from a railway bridge on Saturday night.
The incident happened at Knockavinnane, Ballymacelligott at 9.15pm and a number of cars were damaged. Gardai say it could have been a much more serious incident if drivers lost control of the cars.
Gardai are asking for anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area at the time to contact them on 066-7102300.
