On May 20, between 9am and 7pm, a person returned to their home in Oakpark to find items missing from their house. It’s suspected that a burglar entered through a back window. A safe and small quantity of cash was taken.

Also, this Monday morning, a van was stolen in the town centre. The white Volkswagen Transporter van with registration 161-D-47942 was taken at 9.45am at the road works on Castle Street.

It headed in The Mall direction but gardai don’t know yet if it turned up Edward Street or Ashe Street. It has yet to be recovered so if you see the vehicle or saw which direction it went, please contact Tralee Garda Station on 066-7102300.
