GARDAI are seeking witnesses after a ‘road rage’ incident in Tralee last week.
On Wednesday, February 10, at around 10.15am, a female motorist was driving down Rock Street towards town and decided to stop to allow an oncoming motorist turn into the Dunnes Stores car park.
The motorist in the car behind her — a white jeep/SUV — starting beeping their horn. After the female motorist turned left at the roundabout on to North Circular Road, the car behind — which was also driven by a woman — overtook her and cut her off.
A male passenger, aged in his mid to late 20s, got out of the jeep/SUV, verbally abused her and threw an item at the female driver. The woman was left shaken after the incident.
