The seizure made by Gardaí in Tralee on Thursday.
Gardaí have seized €2,600 of suspected cannabis jellies and cannabis herb in Tralee on Thursday .
Arising from investigations in the use of controlled drugs in the Kerry division, Gardaí from the Kerry Divisional Drugs Unit executed a search warrant at a house in Deerpark Manor, Tralee, shortly after 6.30pm.
During the course of the search Gardaí seized €1,400 of suspected cannabis herb and €1,200 of cannabis jellies. Gardaí also seized a weighing scales and a number of zip lock bags. All of the suspected drugs will now be sent to Forensic Science Ireland for analysis.

No arrests have been made but Gardaí are following a definite line of enquiry.
An Garda Síochána would like to again warn the public about the dangers of cannabis jellies and the risk they pose, particularly were a child to eat them. The packaging is very similar to other confectionaries and can be easily mistaken.
An Garda Síochána encourage persons who become unwell as a consequence of consuming drugs to seek medical assistance by dialing 999 or 112. If a juvenile has consumed these products, medical attention should be sought immediately by calling 999 or 112.
