GARDAI have arrested a man in his 20s and seized approximately €7,200 worth of suspected ecstasy, cocaine and cannabis herb following a search operation at a house in Firies on Thursday.
Shortly before 3pm, Gardaí from the Divisional Drugs Unit in Kerry carried out a search at a house in Firies.
During the course of the search Gardaí seized €6,000 worth of ecstasy, €700 of cocaine and €500 of cannabis herb. The suspect drugs will now be sent for analysis.
A man in his 20s was arrested at the scene and brought to Tralee Garda Station where he was detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984. He has since been released without charge. A file will be prepared for the DPP.
