The suspected plants found in Kenmare.
GARDAI have arrested a man in his 30s and seized approximately €8,000 worth of suspected cannabis plants in Kenmare on Wednesday.
At approximately 7pm, Gardaí from the Divisional Drugs Unit in Kerry carried out a search at an apartment on New Road, Kenmare, Co Kerry. During the course of the search Gardaí seized €8,000 worth of suspected cannabis plants which will now be sent for analysis.
A man in his 30s was arrested at the scene and brought to Killarney Garda Station where he is currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
