GARDAI are informing the public that they are available to help vulnerable people during the Coronavirus crisis.

A team has been set up in each the districts — Tralee, Killarney and Listowel — and they have two uniformed gardai on shifts patrolling the area and are liaising with community alert groups.

They can collect prescriptions or shopping for vulnerable people and just check up on them to see if they are alright. If anyone needs assistance in the Tralee district they are asked to call gardaí on 066-7102300.
