GARDAI are advising the public to be vigilant after a number of reports of bogus callers going door to door in Tralee.
The callers say they are working for an burglar alarm company or to check on people’s fire alarms.
Gardaí say you should always ask for ID from people who call to your house to conduct business. If you have any suspicions, refuse them entry and contact the Garda Station or the company they claim to represent.
