GARDAI are warning the public after people have fallen for a scam by bogus callers.
The callers claim to be from Microsoft and look to get credit card details. While normally with these calls the number tends to be from outside Ireland, the callers have managed to get a Tralee area number showing up on the phone this time, 066-7118692.
Gardai say they have been contacted by people who have been taken in by the callers and are warning people not to engage with them, do not give them any details and to hang up.
