Gardaí Warning About Two Women Targeting Elderly People’s Homes

garda_1GARDAI are urging people to be on the lookout for two women claiming to be collecting for charity and calling to the homes of elderly people in Tralee.

Gardaí first received a report on August 11 that two women, pretending to be Spanish students were calling to elderly people in the Gallowsfield area claiming to be collecting for a religious charity.

One of the females gained access to a house, but was disturbed by the owner and left empty-handed. Gardai believe they are targeting homes occupied by elderly people or houses covered by foliage to help conceal being seen.

Gardaí described one of the women is described as being in her mid-30s, approximately five feet two inches, heavy-set, dark brown hair tied up and wearing a light grey t-shirt. The other suspect is described as being in her early 20s, dark brown hair, brown eyes, wearing multi-coloured leggings with orange and red flowers, coloured runners.

It’s believed they were travelling in a black 07-D registered Opel Zafira, which was parked for a time in St Brendan’s Park between 2pm and 4.30pm on Thursday, August 11.

Gardai are asking people to be on the lookout for the women and to contact them at 066-7102300 if they have any information.

    The EU is flooding Europe with unchecked illegal migrants………yet the EU claims that the only way we can tackle the crisis is more not less EU!

    I say it’s harder to cross 27 independent countries borders that just 1 EU border controlled by “Mother Angel Merkel”!

    The people of Ireland all need to cop on and put an end this EU nightmare?
