“Anyone can take part in the run and we would especially welcome past pupils of the school and their families,”said Una Houlihan, Chairperson of the Parents Council.

Funds raised will go towards general school activities and a portion of funds will also be donated to Jigsaw.

“We’re delighted that Presentation are doing this,” said Caoimhe Keogan of Jigsaw Kerry, the free, non-judgemental and confidential mental health support service for young people aged 12 – 25 living, working or studying in Kerry.

“We’ve partnered with the school on the ‘One Good School’ initiative, which is a two year well-being programme where we support the school through education and training about  how to support young people’s mental health. We work with the students, staff and parents in the programme,” added Caoimhe.

You can register by clicking here, adult entries are €10, under 18’s €4 and a family entry/team of 6 students is €20.
