The Gift Box campaign is coming to Manor West.

THE Kerry Diocesan Justice, Peace & Creation Committee is currently looking for volunteers for the GIFT Box Campaign which will come to Manor West Retail Park from 10am to 7pm on March 21/22.

The campaign is a unique way to raise awareness about human trafficking and gather knowledge on the issue.

The large walk-in street sculptures invite you inside with promises and offers, but once inside you are presented with a different reality.

‘Stop The Traffik’ and United Nations Global Initiative to Fight Human Trafficking (UN.GIFT) teamed up and created the GIFT box.

Around the world, Stop The Traffik partnered with local and national organisations and government departments to build more GIFT boxes and the project has been rolled out in Brazil, the USA, Slovakia, Haiti and Canada. The UN Gift Box will be on a tour of Irish towns throughout the month of March 2017

GIFT box successfully delivered large-scale awareness raising; introducing over 55,000 people in approximately 100 locations across 6 countries to the issue of human trafficking and inspired them to take further action.

    Hi,

I am interested in volunteering for this cause. I clicked the ‘here’ button to apply and the link brings me to the volunteering force page but nowhere on the page allows me to apply. Could you please help me?
